News & EventsWe recently entered the Cook Vegetarian Magazine Veggie Awards. A collection of the very best foods,drinks and websites as rated by the Cook Veg Team. We were delighted as our Vegan Lemon Drizzle Cake was highly commended in the Best Vegan Product Catergory. We can now offer a range of decorated vegan cupcakes which are great for vegan party bags or vegan wedding cake. They are decorated in colours of your choice and are packaged in a degradable bag tied with raffia and are a pretty addition to our vegan cake range.Please phone or e mail for information.
These and other new cakes will soon be available on our new website which will offer more decorated cakes and a new vegan dairy, eggless, gluten free, wheat free and sugar free cake! We have been working on this new special range for some time now and hope you will like them. We feel that it is important that when someone with an allergy or food intolerance that they can enjoy birthday cake with their friends and family and not always have a seperate cake to everyone else (although some would argue that they prefer one of our cakes all to themselves!) and so now everyone can have their cake and eat it. As soon as we have our new website live we will be putting a link here so keep watching.
We are now using our new packaging, as at babycakes direct we have always endeavoured to use the minimal of packaging to protect your product and the environment. Now we use biodegradable bubble wrap. degradable chippings, degradable bags and card boxes which can be recycled.

We are pleased to have had our products reviewed in the Vegan Magazine, click on the link below to find out about the Vegan Society.
We also had an article written about us in a new magazine called, Tastes of Britain. New vegan scones available from Blue Lotus Products, also 2 new flavours of cake. Carrot, raisin and orange no added sugar cake for diabetics and Banana date no added sugar cake suitable for diabetics. Look out for the "cake of the Month" too. Our cakes were featured in Lifescape magazine and had a mention in the BBC Good Food Magazine . We are proud to have our products registered with The Vegan Society www.vegansociety.com and also with Viva! www.viva.org.uk and are now using their symbols on our products. Both sites have lots of information on going veggie or vegan.
